Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) in Columbia, SC, is seeking a Day Landscaper on a full-time, 1st shift basis. You will maintain and enhance lawns, gardens, and other landscapes to keep properties healthy, attractive, and functional while safely operating equipment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least 18 years old; 1 year of driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year driving experience preferred.
• License: Driver's License.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compliance: Must pass MVR check, background check, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and ensure safety features are operational.
• Execution: Review routes, complete jobs within timeframe with quality.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment and follow traffic laws and site protocols.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and dispose properly.
• Reporting: Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly.
• Professional Communication: Maintain professionalism and communicate with team and clients as needed.
• Compliance & Documentation: Complete logs, manifests, and forms accurately.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and resolve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Report to work on time and as scheduled.
