Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Day Landscaper for Columbia, SC. This full-time role on the 1st shift involves maintaining and enhancing lawns, gardens, and landscapes to keep properties healthy, attractive, and functional. You’ll operate landscaping equipment safely and take ownership of your assigned work areas.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years old, and a valid driver’s license. Prior driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year driving experience preferred.
• License: Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and ensure safety features are operational.
• Execution: Review routes prior to departure and complete jobs within the time frame with quality.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate landscaping equipment and follow site protocols.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and dispose as appropriate.
• Reporting: Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Professional Communication: Maintain a professional demeanor with team members and clients.
• Compliance & Documentation: Complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond to changes and solve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Be punctual and prepared for shifts.
