Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a front-end loader operator at our Arkansas site. You will load haul trucks, feed plant operations, and move sand, gravel, and other materials while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, promptly identify maintenance or safety concerns, monitor stockpiles and haul roads, and help maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• Safely operate heavy mobile equipment, especially front-end loaders.
• High safety awareness and hazard recognition.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Work safely in a sand and gravel operation with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-end loader to load haul trucks, feed plant operations, and move sand, gravel, and other materials throughout the site.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and promptly identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain stockpiles, haul roads, pit areas, and work zones to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• Monitor material quality and production needs while minimizing contamination, spillage, and material loss.
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic patterns, equipment separation requirements, and site-specific operating practices.
