Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a full-time forklift operator to move products and materials within our facility. You will operate a powered industrial truck, load and unload materials, and support inventory activities on the work floor.

Work includes possible duties in Subzero areas with proper PPE and strict adherence to safety policies. A valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification quickly is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or able to obtain within 2 weeks of assignment.
• 1 year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive forklift to move products, equipment or materials.
• Position forks and lifting devices under loads and transport to designated areas.
• Unload, stack and inventory materials on the work floor; assist with weighing and labeling.
