Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation in Carrollton, GA is seeking a reliable forklift operator to join our warehouse team. You will move and stack pallets, load and unload materials, and help maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced food processing environment.

Candidates must be forklift certified or willing to obtain certification quickly; strong safety focus and basic math skills are required. Experience with Subzero freezer work and PPE is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or 3–6 months related experience.
• Must be forklift certified, or able to become forklift certified.
• Must qualify for lift truck certification within 2 weeks of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting device.
• Position forks under pallets and transport loads to designated areas.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventory materials and supply workers as needed.
• Weigh materials and record on tags or schedules.
• Load or unload materials onto pallets or lifting device.
• Lubricate truck, recharge/change batteries, and refuel as needed.
• Work in Subzero freezer areas with provided PPE.
• Follow plant safety policies and procedures.
