Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation, a leader in sustainable seafood, seeks a Night Shift Forklift Operator for our Carrollton, GA facility. You will drive a forklift, move pallets, and stack materials while following strict safety and plant food safety policies.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be forklift certified or able to become forklift certified.
• Must qualify for lift truck certification within 2 weeks of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Move levers and pedals to drive the truck and control lifting movement.
• Position forks to load pallets, skids, boxes, or materials and transport to designated areas.
• Unload and stack materials using the lifting device.
• Inventory materials on the work floor and supply workers as needed.
• Weigh materials or products and record weights on tags or schedules.
