Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator I in Hebron, KY for the 1st shift (7am–3:30pm). Pay is $20.00/hour with duties including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment while maintaining product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment, including electric pallet jack and forklifts.
• Must meet all PPE requirements.
• Strong sense of urgency and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors by hand or equipment.
• Safely loading, transporting, and stacking materials with forklifts.
• Sorting and building products to pallets to meet customer expectations.
• Operating shrink wrap machinery on pallets.
• Quality control to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Performing daily equipment inspections for maintenance.
• Maintaining storage location accuracy with daily cycle counts.
• Handling other distribution tasks as needed and adhering to OSHA safety rules.
