Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Akron, OH warehouse. This role supports logistics operations with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

You will operate sit-down forklifts, pull and stage orders, and keep the warehouse clean while following daily inspection routines. The shift is 7am–3:30pm with weekly pay.

Experience with sit-down forklifts preferred; ability to pass background checks required.

Qualifications

• Experience with sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Ability to pass employment, criminal background checks, drug tests, and physical assessments.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and relocate products within the warehouse.
• Accurately pull and stage shipping orders, following all customer instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report any issues promptly.
