Job summary

Ohio Logistics is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a fast-paced distribution environment. You will operate powered forklifts, load/unload trailers, and verify shipments with RF scanning while following safety guidelines.

Candidates should be able to work in rotating shifts, maintain accuracy, and assist with pallet building and light manual tasks. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and basic math skills are required for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered forklifts throughout the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers per customer requirements.
• Inspect inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Use RF scanners and complete required documentation accurately.
• Build and prepare mixed pallets (wrapping, labeling, etc.).
• Perform occasional manual labor, including case picking.

Ohio Logistics is seeking a reliable and driven Forklift Operator who thrives in a dynamic distribution environment. This role goes beyond forklift operation; you’ll be a key team player contributing to accuracy, efficiency, and safety every day.

Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial forklifts throughout the distribution center
• Load and unload trailers according to customer requirements
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage
• Use RF scanners and complete required documentation accurately
• Build and prepare mixed pallets (wrapping, banding, labeling, etc.)
• Perform occasional manual labor, including case picking
• Maintain equipment and follow all safety and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication and basic math skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Experience using RF scanners preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to perform “clean as you go” practices
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold)
• Able to work indoors and outdoors with moderate noise levels
