Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Forklift Operator in New Jersey to safely operate forklifts and manage warehouse movements. The role includes loading/unloading, inventory control, and assisting with shipping documentation.

You will use standard warehouse software and collaborate with sales and admin teams to ensure accurate records and timely shipments. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and up to 2 years of warehouse experience; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 0-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load/unload trucks and move goods within the warehouse.
• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist in packaging and preparing shipments including LTL documentation.
• Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other warehouse software for communications and record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to safety policies.
• Occasionally assist with assembly tasks and valve automation as instructed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with sales and administrative teams on warehouse matters.
• Prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
