Job summary

Randstad USA is urgently seeking sit-down forklift operators for immediate placement in high-capacity distribution centers in Burlington, NJ. The role requires certification and a strong safety record.

You will perform pallet movements, inventory putaway, load/unload trailers, and conduct daily safety inspections. This position offers premium pay and flexible scheduling for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
• Current, documented forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift to move, stack, and retrieve high-volume, palletized materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
• Execute critical inventory placement tasks, including putaway, replenishment, and retrieving full pallet loads from high racks (up to client-specific height).
• Load and unload trailers and containers meticulously, ensuring loads are properly balanced and secure according to safety and transport regulations.
• Conduct mandatory pre-shift OSHA-compliant forklift inspections (daily checklist) and report any maintenance needs immediately.
• Work collaboratively with inventory control and order selection teams to ensure accurate material flow and location management.
