Job summary

Novo Distribution Llc in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to move inventory throughout the warehouse using RF scanners. You will ensure pallets are secure and correctly labeled while transporting to designated areas.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work overtime Monday to Friday. Training will be provided to operate equipment and follow Novo's standard work instructions.

Qualifications

• Able to read, understand and follow written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Experience operating a forklift with a rating around 6,500 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift to move product and pallets throughout warehouse to designated areas.
• Communicates discrepancies, product issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Ensures product is scanned with RF scanner and moved to correct location with accurate labels.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety requirements.
