Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Hillsboro, OR is hiring a First Shift Forklift Operator to move stock within a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, load and unload shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records while following safety guidelines.

The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am–5:00pm) with hourly pay of $24.80, plus benefits like medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion of forklift-training program within 30 days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, pallet jack, etc.) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently.
• Inspect equipment daily before use to ensure safe operation.
• Perform accurate inventory handling and documentation as required.
• Stack and organize materials according to safety and efficiency standards.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and supervisors.
