Virginia Eagle Distributing Company in Winchester, VA is seeking a Warehouse Associate I for the evening shift on a 3-day weekend schedule. As an order picker, you will assemble and verify routes, handle pallet jacks and light forklift tasks, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries across Virginia.

Candidates should be able to lift 15–40 lbs, maintain accuracy, perform basic math, and work in a noisy, temperature-controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry 15–40+ lbs repeatedly throughout a 10–15 hour shift, with frequent bending, reaching, and standing.
• Sharp attention to detail: accurate case counts and correct order builds are how we measure success.
• Basic math skills: ability to count and verify case quantities throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate electric pallet jacks; forklift certification a plus.
• Reliable attendance — your team depends on you showing up, every shift, on time.
• Comfortable working in a high-noise, temperature-controlled environment.
• Composite-toe footwear required on day one.

Responsibilities

• Pick and build delivery route orders using the EasyPick scanning system, stacking cases accurately in layers for safe transport.
• Verify order accuracy using two-step scan verification; confirm case counts and sign off on completed orders.
• Operate pallet jacks and move, stage, and load completed orders.
• Assist with loading delivery trucks and perform end-of-shift warehouse cleanup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per standards.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions and provide coverage as needed.
