Job summary

Transdev in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced A-Level Fleet Automotive Mechanic for the day shift to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across a diverse fleet. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely service, with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

Requirements include CDL, ASE certifications, and at least two years of mechanic experience; a complete tool set is expected. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, DOT testing, and ongoing ASE training.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.
