Job summary

Chesapeake Spice Co. is seeking a full-time custodian/porter to maintain the building, grounds, plant, and offices in Belcamp, MD. The role requires cleaning, sanitizing, and basic maintenance to ensure a safe, orderly facility.

Responsibilities include restroom service, floor care, coordination of supplies, and adherence to safety and chemical handling procedures. High school diploma or GED is required; overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Custodian/porter experience preferred
• Able to work with chemicals and industrial cleaning products
• Must be able to read and write English
• Able to lift 15-50 lbs and stand for long shifts

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and supply all restrooms.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen sinks, floors, and drains.
• Clean, paint, and repair areas as needed.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Identify and report sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
