Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia, Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to support Fort Bragg facilities with a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00am to 1:30pm. The role covers broad maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and coordination with skilled trades to keep the site operational and safe.

Ideal candidates will have basic maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a commitment to safe work practices. Strong communication and reliability are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard maintenance methods, materials, and tools.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Candidates with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Agency policies and contract specs.
• Perform maintenance to provide a safe, workable environment.
• Complete tasks efficiently, safely, and within time frames.
• Install, repair, and maintain system components and fixtures.
• Document activities with repair status reports and logs.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
