Job summary

University of Kentucky is seeking an Extension Custodian in Elizabethtown, KY. You will oversee the maintenance, cleaning and basic custodial needs of the Extension office, including conference room setup and basic repairs, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking bathrooms and kitchens, vacuuming, exterior maintenance, and occasional floor care. You will report to an Extension Agent and interact with the public daily.

Qualifications

• Some previous experience in the maintenance/janitorial field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Extension office including cleaning, stocking bathrooms and kitchen areas, vacuuming and dusting.
• Perform basic repairs, facility management and conference room setup.
• Occasionally strip/wax floors, change light bulbs, and perform outdoor maintenance tasks.
