Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of experience in environmental services or housekeeping with strong customer service.
• Ability to collaborate with others and provide direction on department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Orient and train caregivers.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure resource availability.
• Inform supervisor of performance concerns and policy violations.
• Follow policies and procedures on patient isolation and Environmental Services standards.
• Ensure compliance with hospital-wide and departmental safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Environmental Services Team Leads to maintain a sanitary, safe environment.
• Clean patient rooms, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, restrooms and discharge areas.
• Stock supplies in patient rooms and restrooms.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and waste removal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
