UPMC East is seeking a full-time Floor & Project Tech to join our Environmental Services team in Monroeville. The role focuses on cleaning, floor care, carpet shampooing, and maintaining equipment, with a daylight shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and weekend/holiday responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital housekeeping or floor maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes after emergency spill clean up requests.
• Shampoo to Extracts.
• Inspect and ensure areas are clean and in good repair, reporting problems to the supervisor.
• Shampoo assigned carpeted areas.
• Maintain all assigned equipment; keep equipment clean and in good repair, report problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Comply with all Hospital/Department policies and procedures.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations, reporting problems to the shift supervisor.
• Remove all soil, wax, and sealer from assigned hard-surface floors.
• Uses chemicals and solutions per department Tech Manual.
