Job summary

UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township, PA is hiring a full-time Floor & Project Technician to support our Housekeeping team on the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am). This on-site role offers dependable work, a supportive environment, and room to grow, with pay based on experience and education.

Responsibilities include handling emergency cleanups, shampooing and extracting carpets, maintaining floors, and reporting issues to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required, or 1 year of related housekeeping experience in lieu of diploma.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to complete duties.
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment safely and effectively.
• May be in rooms where medications are stored; no contact with medications is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency cleanups with proper sanitizing procedures.
• Shampoo and extract carpets in assigned areas.
• Maintain floors by removing soil, wax, and sealers.
• Inspect assigned areas and report issues to supervisor.
• Use equipment safely and responsibly.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards to keep patients, visitors, and staff safe.
