Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Site Supervisor for the Kearny Mesa location. The role requires an active DoD security clearance and a CA guard card. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm, with a pay rate of $28.78/hour.

The supervisor oversees on-site security operations, staffing, training, and contract compliance. Responsibilities include ensuring training compliance, managing overtime, and coordinating with the client to maintain service quality and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have active DoD clearance.
• Must pass any state-required training or licensing.
• Must have CA guard card or ability to obtain.
• 18+ age (21+ if armed).
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in security.
• Associate degree or higher in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site security operations, staffing, scheduling, and training.
• Ensure contract-required training and screening for personnel are met.
• Manage overtime as designated by AUS.
• Inspect personnel and performance for contract compliance.
• Assist in payroll, incident reports, and security surveys.
• Recommend personnel actions and disciplinary measures.
• Respond to client requests and emergencies per post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates and maintain post orders.
