Responsibilities

Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.
May load or unload by hand, or with freight handling tools such as lift truck, pallet jack, or side cart.
Use scanners to read bar codes on products.
Scan barcode on freight and ensure each movement to rack, floor, or loading door.
View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks.
Verify shipping information to ensure correct destination.
Receive and put away inventory.
Attach barcodes to freight for tracking and routing.
Finalizing the work order and updating the database.
Inspect merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.
