Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Romulus, MI is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our crossdock team. You will operate a sit-down forklift, unload inbound freight, and scan items into the system, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and prior warehouse/forklift experience. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule with possible weekend shifts, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse and forklift experience highly preferred.
• Must be self-driven with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit down forklift
• Unload inbound freight
• Scan freight into the system
• Notify Supervisor of any overage, shortage, or damage to freight
• Load outbound trailers
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work Monday - Friday
