Job summary

Service Wire Company in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a 1st shift Dock Lead to coordinate and manage dock operations, ensuring smooth material flow and safe, efficient work. You will work with department leaders, supervise daily activities, train staff, and support hiring and performance discussions.

Shift runs 7:00am–3:30pm. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, basic math and communication skills, forklift certification, and the ability to work in hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent training.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Able to read, comprehend, and respond to instructions both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage operations within the dock department.
• Inspect daily data reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide status updates on production and distribution.
• Assist with on-the-floor training and development of staff.
• Support personnel matters including hiring, promotion, and discipline.
