LifePoint Health is seeking an experienced RN leader to serve as Director of Nursing for Surgical Services in Wilson, NC. This full-time, on-site role oversees OR, PACU, and Same Day Surgery with a focus on patient safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The position requires a BSN, NC RN licensure, 5+ years OR nursing experience, and 3+ years leadership. ACLS/PALS due within 90 days. Competitive benefits and development opportunities available.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact license.
• Minimum 5 years of Operating Room nursing experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management or healthcare leadership experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic and operational oversight of OR, PACU, and Same Day Surgery.
• Establish departmental goals, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Ensure efficient surgical workflows and resource utilization.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes and operations.
• Develop, monitor, and manage departmental budgets.
• Oversee staffing costs, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and professional development of perioperative staff.
• Build a collaborative, high-performing perioperative team.
• Partner with surgeons and hospital leadership to improve services.
• Monitor metrics and drive operational improvements.
