Zusammenfassung

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Director of Perioperative Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across the OR, PACU, and Same Day Surgery. This role drives safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance while guiding budgets, productivity, and staff development in a high‑volume surgical environment.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Operating Room experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of management or leadership experience required.
  • Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, staff development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance preferred.

The Perioperative Services Department includes the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Same Day Surgery (SDS). Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care across the perioperative continuum. The Director of Perioperative Services provides leadership and operational oversight for these departments, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and physician satisfaction.
