Job summary

The NEEDS Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Day Program team in Woburn. This full-time role supports adults with autism to live as independently as possible while enjoying daily living activities and community involvement.

No experience is required as training is provided; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Tewksbury office are needed. Shift is Day, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:00pm, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with behavior management preferred.
• Empathy and a willingness to help people with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and transportation to the Tewksbury office.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support adults with autism in daily routines.
• Support development of daily living skills and activities.
• Help with clinical, educational and vocational programs.
• Observe and record data for program plans.
• Create a therapeutic environment with the team through activities.
