Job summary

The NEEDS Center is hiring Direct Care Specialists to support adults with autism in our Day Program in Tewksbury, MA, with plans to move to Woburn, MA in January 2027. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily routines, developing living skills, and supporting therapeutic activities to enhance quality of life. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Tewksbury office are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Empathy and willingness to help people with developmental disabilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation to the Tewksbury office.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support adults with autism in daily routines.
• Help develop daily living skills and engage in activities.
• Support participation in clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
