Job summary

Park Royal Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Registered Dietitian for a full-time role with day hours. The position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive health benefits.

The Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the treatment team to support mental health and recovery. Experience with eating disorders and substance use is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or similar acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities serving those populations.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and develop dietary-care plans with counseling.
• Approve patient menus and supplements.
• Advise on dietary principles and food prep.
• Provide nutritional assessments per policy and regulation.
• Review and approve facility menus.
• Counsel individuals on healthy eating and nutrition monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine nutritional needs.
• Participate in treatment team as appropriate.
• Review facility diet manual with medical staff annually.
• Educate groups on diet and nutrition and disease management.
