Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Dietitian to promote health and recovery within a psychiatric facility. The role includes developing dietary-care plans, counseling patients, approving menus, and collaborating with medical staff.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and generous PTO. Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use is strongly preferred, with day hours and full-time commitment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar for licensure.
Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and health plans to develop dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
Advise patients and families on nutrition principles and dietary plans.
Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulation.
Review and approve menus developed by the facility.
Counsel individuals and groups on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
Consult with physicians to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
Participate in treatment team as appropriate.
Review and approve facility diet manual annually with medical staff.
Promote health through speaking to groups about diet and disease management.
Monitor food service operations for nutritional, safety and quality standards.
