Job summary

Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture is seeking a Distribution Center Associate for our Dupont, WA facility. The role is non-exempt/hourly with a starting pay of $23.00 per hour and on-site training opportunities.

Schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday 5:30am–2:00pm. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory checks, and assisting teammates across the DC and store as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 2+ years of work experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification is required at some facilities or obtainable.
• Ability to operate hand trucks and small power tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load containers and delivery trucks by hand or with forklifts, verifying paperwork.
• Verify products are correctly racked and inspect merchandise quality.
• Use the computer system to look up inventory, answer phones, and maintain safety.
• Report damage and coordinate with DC Manager on issues.
• Keep the DC clean and provide friendly white-glove service to customers.
