Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Woodbridge, VA to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. Responsibilities include janitorial tasks, hazardous waste handling, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace while following all safety policies.

The role requires ability to perform essential duties, with shift from 6AM to 2:30PM, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bilingual a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties.
Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
Maintain clean work area.
Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
Take direction and respond to supervision.
