Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client specifications and attention to detail.

The position offers a hourly wage of $12, with shifts from 6am to 11am, Monday through Sunday totaling about 35 hours per week. Equal opportunity employer and on-site work in Madison, Alabama.

Qualifications

• Must have basic cleaning experience or willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entry areas.
• Empty trash and use of compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions/shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to housekeeping schedule and safety guidelines.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client needs.
