Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of General Services is seeking Custodial Workers to support busy buildings in the Central Operations Region 2. You will help keep offices, restrooms, and public areas neat and orderly, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform cleaning tasks such as restroom sanitation, floor care, trash removal, window cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Restroom Cleaning: Wash and sanitize restroom fixtures, floors, and walls while keeping supplies stocked
• Office Cleaning: Dust and clean office furniture, equipment, and surfaces throughout work areas
• Trash Removal: Collect and transport trash and recycling materials to designated pick-up points
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove spills from floors in offices, hallways, and public spaces
• Window Cleaning: Dust and clean windows, sills, blinds, and related fixtures as assigned
• Equipment Use: Operate cleaning tools and machinery and perform basic care and maintenance of equipment
