SUMMARY: This is routine manual work involving themaintenance of cleanliness and safety in state-operated facilities,buildings, and grounds. Employees perform a variety of standard oraseptic cleaning and sanitation tasks and work independently tocomplete the assigned day-to-day custodial duties. Work is subjectto inspection while in progress or upon completion for adherence toestablished standards of cleanliness. Detailed supervisory guidanceand review is provided for new or unusual situations and changes inoperating procedures.

The salary for this position is determined by the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Agreement.
