Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a CT Technologist I in Texas to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare and position patients, verify orders, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate results.

Ideal candidates have clinical radiologic training with 1–2 years of experience; 2–4 years in an acute care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required.
• 2-4 years of CT technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients and ensure safety during CT procedures.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff for timely results.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Perform quality control and document results.
• Maintain equipment and monitor supply levels.
• Respond to emergencies per facility protocols.
