Job summary

The nurse collaborates with physicians and the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will hold a Florida RN license, BLS, and ACLS, with at least one year of RN experience, preferably in an ER environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program.
• Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC required for certain areas (NICU NRP).
• Minimum one year of RN experience, ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and adjusts equipment and interprets intracranial, central venous, and cardiac monitors.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans based on patient needs and responses.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to manage unit care.
• Documents patient care in the medical record meeting regulatory standards.
