Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, MO is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the day shift. The role focuses on providing direct patient care and maintaining a safe, comfortable resident environment.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and care plans, collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team, and deliver care with dignity and compassion. No experience required; new CNAs encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri (in good standing).
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read, write, and follow care instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
• Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable resident environments
• Change bed linens and ensure beds are safe and wrinkle-free
• Communicate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow care plans and report any changes in condition
• Deliver care with dignity, respect, and compassion
