Job summary

Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation in Jefferson City, Missouri, is seeking a compassionate Night Shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This full-time position requires an active Missouri CNA license and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Compassionate, dependable and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents according to care plans.
• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and use of mobility equipment.
• Monitor residents and report changes to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain clean, dry, comfortable environments by changing linens and incontinent products.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds while ensuring resident comfort and skin integrity.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when appropriate.
• Document care provided according to facility policies.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in shift reports and communicate with nurses and other team members.
• Help create a positive, respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
