Job summary

PACS Group in Sun City, AZ is seeking a full-time Day CNA to provide routine nursing care to residents as outlined in care plans. You will identify residents, document care using approved abbreviations, and promptly report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

You will assist with meals, mobility, and daily activities, ensure rooms are ready, and maintain resident privacy. Follow facility policies on exposure to blood and bodily fluids and participate in shift handoffs and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband/photo card before care.
• Record entries using authorized abbreviations.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Assist with meals and daily living activities; support mobility.
• Prepare rooms, greet residents, and escort to rooms.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report data.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and incident reporting.
• Assist with preparing residents for medical tests and examinations.
