Qualifications

• Preferred High School Diploma or its equivalent or enrolled in ongoing education.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provides for the residents’ health needs, including measuring vital signs, intake and output.
• Adheres to infection control procedures and maintains documentation of resident care.
• Responds to calls and communicates changes to the nurse management.
• Attends required classes to maintain CNA certification (12 hours per year) and mandatory trainings.
• Assists with orientation of new employees as instructed by supervisor.
