Job summary

Appling Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support direct daily patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. You will assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and monitor changes in condition during the 7p-7a shift.

Duties include taking vital signs, assisting with bathing, mobility, feeding, and documenting care. A valid Georgia CNA certification and BLS are required or obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
• Current CNA certification in Georgia or within 4 months of graduation.
• Current BLS certification (must obtain within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Takes and records resident vital signs accurately.
• Assists with bathing, grooming, hygiene and mobility.
• Assists with ambulation and transfer (beds, chair, wheelchair).
• Monitors and reports changes in resident condition to supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of resident areas and supplies.
