Farwell Care Center in Farwell, TX is seeking a certified nursing assistant to provide compassionate care to residents according to care plans, facility policies and supervisor directions.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, document intake and weight, support dining services, and follow infection control and safety procedures. Prior LTC experience is preferred; CPR/BLS current and CNA in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care.

Responsabilités

• Provides CNA services to residents as directed by care plans and supervisors.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates dining room services, meals delivery and feeding assistance.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake as required.
• Tracks weights and notes changes to nursing staff.
• Monitors skin condition and reports issues to nurse or supervisor.
• Supports toileting programs and documents progress in flow sheets.
• Follows infection control, safety policies, and completes required training.
