Good Samaritan in Bloomfield, NE is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts in a not-for-profit, Christian environment. The CNA provides resident-centered care, assists with daily living activities, documents findings, and supports the nursing team under an RN.

Qualifications include high school diploma or GED preferred, minimum age 16, CNA certification within four months, and ongoing competency testing. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process within four months.
• Completes yearly competency testing and 12 hours CE per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, mobility and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE usage.
• Support housekeeping and dining activities as needed.
