Job summary

Parkridge Cardiothoracic Surgeons, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Licensed Clinic Supervisor for a full-time, day-shift role in Chattanooga, TN. This position involves direct patient care when needed and leading clinical staff, developing plans, ensuring compliance, and managing daily operations.

Applicants should have an accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or an LPN/LVN, with at least one year in a medical setting and CPR certification. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or a degree/diploma from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing.

Responsibilities

• May have direct patient care duties.
• Establish/implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned clinical areas.
• Participate in development and implementation of clinical plans.
• Select, train/orient, and supervise departmental personnel; manage work assignments and daily operations.
• Evaluate performance and recommend merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Resolve problems in clinical areas and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Monitor and control clinical expenditures to remain within budget.
• Serve as liaison between clinic and external agencies.
• Work with medical staff to ensure quality patient care and services are provided.
• Participate in professional development activities to keep current health care trends and practices.
