Job summary

Aerotek in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Cherry Picker Operator to safely move finished products to the packaging area and support accurate order fulfillment. You will use cherry pickers, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks following MO instructions and labeling requirements. Responsibilities include verifying parts against MO documents, labeling to specifications, packing to standard quantities, and recording inventory with SAP and RF scanners.

Regular 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• 2+ years forklift experience
• Experience operating cherry pickers and reach lifts in a warehouse environment
• Ability to perform heavy picking and lift up to 50 pounds
• Experience using SAP and RF scanners for inventory control
• Proficient labeling, packing, and palletizing to packaging standards
• Familiarity with bills of lading and shipping documentation

Responsibilities

• Operate cherry picker, stand-up forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack to move finished products to the packaging area according to MO instructions.
• Check parts against MO documents to confirm correct product and quantities.
• Label each product according to specifications and customer requirements.
• Pack products in predetermined quantities and boxes, following packaging standards.
• Label boxes with content type and quantity, and palletize with labels visible.
• Safely handle parts to prevent damage and maintain clean work areas.
• Perform heavy picking tasks, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Use RF scanners and SAP to track, pick, and record inventory.
• Assist with packing, shipping, and related documentation including bills of lading.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe warehouse environment.
• Work a 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. schedule, Monday–Friday, in a team setting.
