Job summary

Xpedient Logistics in Shorewood, IL is seeking an Equipment Operator to support warehouse operations. You will move, pick, and store products using powered equipment, primarily cherry pickers, and use RF scanners to manage inventory.

The role requires operating equipment safely, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights. Flexible hours including weekends/overtime may be needed; prior PIT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with RF scanning technology and warehouse ops.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (up to 10 ft).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment, primarily cherry pickers, safely and efficiently.
• Pick products from racking and transport to dock for shipment.
• Store inbound products at designated locations.
• Accurately scan/pick/put away items with RF gun or handheld scanner.
• Follow warehouse layout plans to optimize handling and inventory tracking.
• Perform daily equipment safety checks and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as needed.
