Job summary

Randstad USA in Chambersburg, PA is seeking Cherry Picker Operators for a temp-to-hire role. You will safely operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to move inventory across inbound and outbound operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Shift is first, 6 AM–6 PM; pay is $20.50–$22 per hour.

No degree is required. On-site training for forklift/MHE is available, and candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Forklift or MHE experience preferred; on-site certification training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Punctual attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
• Education: No Degree Required.
• Training is available in English/Spanish/Creole.

Responsibilities

Cherry Picker Operators for Temp to Hire Positions in Chambersburg, PA!!

This is for our Front Half Days Positions (Sun-Tues 6am-6pm & Wed 6am-12pm) & Back Half Days Positions (Wed 12pm-6pm & Thur-Sat 6am-6pm). Operators keep inventory moving safely and efficiently across inbound and outbound operations. This temp-to-hire position offers a clear path to full-time employment and future leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment: Safely drive stand-up reach trucks, cherry pickers, and powered industrial vehicles.
• Move & Load Inventory: Move carts to designated aisles, stage outbound freight, and load/unload trailers (maintaining ~10 cartons/minute).
• Scan & Verify: Scan product to maintain inventory accuracy and assist with case sorting.
• Maintain Safety: Perform pre-shift equipment checks, follow safety and 5S standards, and report hazards.
• Cross-Train: Support multiple facility departments as volume demands.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift or MHE experience preferred (on-site certification training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (average case weight: 20–30 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Punctual attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to workplace safety.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training is Available in English/Spanish/Creole.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
