Bongards' Creameries in Humboldt, TN is seeking a Day Shift Machine Operator to operate cheese making equipment on a rotational basis with a path to a permanent line assignment. You will perform machine operation, assist with basic troubleshooting, and support multi-line coverage in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong math and reading skills, and adherence to GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills and lines.
• Must adhere to GMP, safety and quality guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work in varied temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate cheese making equipment on a rotating basis.
• Follow instructions from lead or supervisor.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and line coverage.
• Monitor quality of boxes, pouches and labels.
• Clean and sanitize machines and work areas after production.
• Maintain a neat, safe, organized workspace.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt as needed.
